Considerations about the Muster suspension solutions for Dacia Duster

Bilstein by Mudster Dacia Duster shock absorbers have a proprietary design made by us in the Bilstein factory in Sibiu (Romania). These are not standard Bilstein shock absorbers, and therefore they do not have the known codes (B6, B8, B12), they are not modified standard shock absorbers and they cannot be purchased outside the Mudster distribution network. Our solutions are the following:- +2cm suspension (only shock absorbers)- +3.5cm suspension (only shock absorbers)Note: the 2 solutions above can only be mounted with original springs (OE Dacia) and raise the car due to their longer body length;- +5cm suspension consisting of Bilstein By Mudster shock absorbers and H&R springs (the shock absorbers are specially designed for lift springs, they cannot be installed with OE Dacia springs);- +5.5 cm suspension - similar to the previous solution, but with MAD HD springs.- +3cm Koni +H&R suspension - this is a lift kit made from Koni shocks and H&R springs.NOTE: the only lift solution that does not depend on other factors in determining the difference in ground clearance before - after installation, is represented by the lifting shock absorbers. For these, the ground clearance difference is exactly the one mentioned.Kits with lift springs have an approximate ground clearance increse, determined by the average ground clearance of a Duster that has already traveled a number of km and the lift offered by the chosen lift springs. The differences between these solutions are numerous, we recommend them depending on the type of use of your Duster:- Bilstein by Mudster + 2cm - mainly for paved roads and occasional soft off-road fun; engine and gearbox spacers are not required; larger tires are welcome but not required (215/70R16)- Bilstein by Mudster + 3.5cm - for mixed use, off and on road, terrain of medium difficulty (fishing, hunting); it is recommended, but not mandatory, to mount spacers for the engine and gearbox; larger tires are welcome but not required (215/70R16)- Bilstein by Mudster +H&R -5cm- for intensive off-road applications; they have a longer stroke than the standard suspension (3 cm more); engine and gearbox spacers are mandatory; larger tires required (at least 215/70R16)- Bilstein by Mudster + MAD -5.5cm- for intensive off-road or overlanding use, where the car is equipped with permanent additional equipment of at least 150 kg; they have a longer stroke than the standard suspension (3 cm more); engine and gearbox spacers are mandatory; larger tires required (at least 215/70R16)Kony + H&R are usually recommended for high-speed off-road (such as Rally Raid) and for customers who require adjustable dampers (their response can be adjusted).IMPORTANT NOTE: the only lift solutions for Dacia Duster available on the market that have RAR approval are those that contain Bilstein by Mudster shock absorbers!!!
